This position requires an understanding of procurement practices, processes and systems as they relate to project execution, especially engineering requirements in support of civil/structural, electrical, mechanical and piping engineering disciplines.

Usage of the Marian system is required to perform the specific duties of this position. Specific duties will include:
(1) coordinating and entering engineering requisitions in support of the projects procurement schedule, including generating open material interface files for import of engineering material requirements,
(2) coordinating, MTO checking and entering bills of materials in support of isometric issues,
(3) coordinating and entering material specifications in support of specification engineers.
(4) supporting site construction allocation and forecasting of piping isometrics, shop fabrication spools, structural mark pieces, tagged valves, prebuys, etc.

Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (e.g. ASME, MSS, API, ISA, IEEE) will be helpful in effectively performing the requirements of this positions. The candidate must be willing to travel and able to work independently in all phases of engineering material management. The candidate must be able to work with their direct management, requiring minimal supervision as well as able to communicate effectively with project management, project procurement, the business units and end users.

Understanding of the following work processes for this position is needed: Engineering materials management starting with material specifications, material requirements from bills of materials through requisition releases, and site construction materials forecasting and allocation.

Job Overview
Lead and perform challenging and diverse product development efforts, providing expert mechanical engineering design services and support throughout all stages of the product development life cycle.
Responsibilities
Develop mechanical specifications, concepts, system architectures, and components that satisfy the customer's requirements.

The Network Engineer's primary responsibility is to support the data center network environment at our client's Corporate Headquarters in RTP. This position is the escalation point for Level I Engineers. Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to supporting Level III Engineers, troubleshooting and repairing all corporate networks.

Responsibilities include:
Monitoring network engineering queues in and taking action on open incidents.
Complete and clear documentation of all reported incidents and tasks as issues are being worked on and resolved.
Communicate with internal customers and vendors via telephone (or email as required) during troubleshooting, resolution and follow-up.
Complete documentation of problem resolution.
Communicate status of all business-impacting issues to team members and management as required.
Plan, design and implement network systems including routers, switches, wireless systems, and content switching.
Field office design and data center support such as assigning new networks for data center and identifying correct devices for field projects.
Submit and process requests to provisioning and logistics team to order new network infrastructure hardware as required. Coordinate on-site vendor assistance as necessary.
Lead design phase of field office and data center projects.
Participate in 24 X 7 on-call rotation for Network Operations Support group.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience desired
