RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:


Determine each customer’s vehicle needs and wants by asking questions and listening.
Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
Report to the vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis.
Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers.
Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer.
Maintain a prospect development system.
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the products.
Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning, solicitation, award and administration of purchase orders and subcontracts in support of Central Supply Chain Management procurement of IS/ IT requirements. Develops plans of action to ensure that goals are achieved, compliance requirements are met, material flow is adequate and cost reduction is attained. Remains cognizant of industry technology improvements, current and other competitive supplier capabilities to ensure best source of supply is utilized.
Required Education:
Bachelor degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience required.
Masters in Business or related field preferred.
ISM/ NAPM/ CPM or Project Management certification

Required Work Experience:
6-8 years of applicable experience.
Excellent written and oral communications
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Highly organized and efficient
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Previous experience working with Lotus Notes preferred
Procurement Knowledge
Ability to Evaluate Supplier Proposals/ Bids

Supplier Delivery Management
Ability to Review Supplier Invoices
Ability to Prepare a Supplier Request for Quote
Ability to Manage Supplier Relations
Team Building Skills

Ability to Prepare a Supplier Request for Proposal
Ability to Prepare an Acquisition Strategy Document
Knowledge of Contract Closeout Requirements
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Strategies
Ability to Conduct a Financial Analysis of a Supplier Proposal

Other Desirable Requirements:
Knowledge of the Purchase Functionality of the Oracle Operating System

Knowledge of the IS/IT industry and the major hardware and software suppliers

Assist in managing day-to-day aspects of highly perishable food products physical inventory, including conducting daily routine cycle counts of inventory, running discrepancy reports, investigating variances, problem solving as necessary, and reporting findings/ recommending solutions to management at the warehouse/ distribution facility.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1.      Manage flow of inventory and match system to actual inventory.
2.      Oversee product flow, ensure that shelving is organized, loss prevention and audit standards are met.
3.      Coordinate inventory consolidation and report inventories as required.
4.      Tally daily inventory shrink figures and report findings.
5.      Prep and conduct daily inventory cycle counts and report findings.
6.      Conduct physical inventory.
7.      Conduct discrepancy research; make adjustments in system as necessary.
8.      Calculate lot numbers for unidentified product, label and run day-end program.
9.      Record and report discrepancy findings; recommend actions to improve and reduce inventory loss shrinkage within facility.
10.  Meet/ or exceed established goals and objectives within distribution facility.

Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location.

12.  Observe all Company safety policies and procedures.
13.  Perform all duties in a highly ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
